India beat Australia at second Test in Hyderabad

Cheteshwar Pujara scored 204 against Australia in the 2nd Test at HyderabadNew Delhi/Hyderabad, March 05 (ANI): India on Tuesday beat Australia by an innings and 135 runs to clinch second consecutive Test win in the four-match series in Hyderabad. R Ashwin took the wicket of James Pattinson (0), who was the last man to be dismissed. M Wade, G Maxwell and Siddle’s wickets took Australia on the verge of defeat. Australia lost their sixth wicket as Moises Henriques was run out without scoring. Ed Cowan (44), Michael Clarke (16) and Shane Watson (9) were the other three batsmen dismissed in the morning. Australia’s two scores put together – 237 and 131 – fell short of Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay’s 370-run partnership for the second wicket, summing up the nature of the defeat.
