Matthew Hayden and Glenn McGrath have been named in the 18-man squad for next month’s Tri-Series in Malaysia. Hayden’s opening partner for several ODIs, Adam Gilchrist will not be making the trip and will stay back in Australia. Brad Haddin has been given the opportunity to don the wicket keeping gloves.
