England resume Day 2 at an overnight score of 336/7 in 90.0 Ovs with Anderson on 2* and Broad on 4*.

Morning Session – England 1st Innings

Over 90.5: Boundary! P Siddle to S Broad, pitched up delivery, plays a classy cover drive for a boundary!

Over 91.1: Three runs. M Johnson to J Anderson, short and wide, plays an upper cut over covers and gets three valuable runs.

Over 92.2: Boundary! P Siddle to S Broad, short of length delivery, thats a valuable outside edge from Broad which goes down safely through gully for a boundary. That brings up the 350 for England.

Over 92.4: Boundary! P Siddle to S Broad, pitched up delivery, plays a thunderous drive on the up that beats the diving mid off for a boundary.

Over 93.5: Bowled him! M Johnson to S Broad, good length delivery, goes back to play a flick and finds himself in a tangle to get bowled round his legs with the off cutter brushing the trouser onto the stumps.

Over 94.1: Boundary! P Siddle to J Anderson, good length delivery, goes back and drives it but only to get an outside edge that flies low through the vacant third slip region for a boundary.

Over 95.5: Three runs. M Johnson to G Swann, good length delivery, plays a useful pick up shot in the air over mid wicket and gets three more runs.

Over 96.1: Three runs. P Siddle to G Swann, half volley, drives it in the gap through covers and picks up three runs.

Over 98.1: Four Byes! Nathan Hauritz to G Swann, flatter trajectory delivery, thats a sharp turning off break that beats the batsman and also the keeper down the legside for four byes.

Over 103.1: Three runs. Ben Hilfenhaus to M Panesar , good length delivery, he bowls that onto the pads and Monty plays a lovely flick through mid wicket for three runs.

Over 0.6: Three runs. J Anderson to P Hughes, pitched up delivery, stretches forward and drives the wide one through extra covers, the ground is extremely large in that area and it will not be a boundary.

Over 1.2: Boundary! S Broad to P Hughes, short and wide, cuts that fiercely through gully for a boundary.

Over 1.3: Boundary! S Broad to P Hughes, short of length delivery, plays a crunching drive through covers for a boundary.

Over 3.4: Boundary! S Broad to P Hughes, short and wide, plays a whacking cut past the diving gully for a boundary.

Over 8.5: Beaten! A Flintoff to P Hughes, short and rising delivery, almost nicks that behind, that one angled in and held its line outside off. Hughes played away from his body.

Over 13.3: Boundary! S Broad to S Katich, short of length delivery, goes for a cut and the ball isn’t that wide at all, Katich edges that past the vacant gully region for a boundary.

Over 13.5: Three runs. S Broad to S Katich, good length delivery, flicks it across through mid wicket and they get three from Monty.

Over 14.4: No ball + Boundary! A Flintoff to P Hughes, short of length delivery, plays a back cut behind point for a boundary.

Over 14.6: He is Caught! A Flintoff to P Hughes, short of length delivery, goes for a backfoot drive away from his body and its an inside edge produced by Freddie’s indipper that is well caught by Prior low to his right.

Over 15.5: Three runs. S Broad to S Katich, pitched up delivery, shuffles across and drives it wristily past mid on for three runs.

Over 17.6: Four runs. S Broad to R Ponting, pitched up delivery, strides forward and drives it positively through covers and the ball stops on its own inside the boundary but the batsmen have take four runs!

Over 18.6: Boundary! A Flintoff to S Katich, pitched up delivery, stands and delivers for a boundary, Katich there played a wristy on drive between the non striker and mid on.

Over 22.6: Boundary! J Anderson to R Ponting, short of length delivery, plays a thunderous drive that goes wide of point for a boundary.

Over 30.1: Boundary! M Panesar to R Ponting, flighted delivery, gets forward and across and paddles it using the bowler’s pace to get it past short fine leg for a boundary.

Over 40.3: Three runs. A Flintoff to S Katich, pitched up delivery, drives that freely in the gap through covers and the ball doesn’t go all the way to the boundary.

Over 41.4: Boundary! S Broad to R Ponting, pitched up delivery, plays a rash shot on the up and the ball goes off the thickish edge through gully for a boundary that brings up his 47th test fifty!

Over 44.3: Boundary! G Swann to S Katich, quicker and flatter in the air, fires that down the legside and Katich tickles that to fine leg for a boundary.

Over 44.4: Two runs. G Swann to S Katich, quicker and flatter in the air, drives the half volley square of the wicket on the off side for a couple and that brings up the 100 of this partnership.
