Australia resume Day 5 at a second innings score of 313/5 in 86.0 Ovs (Clarke 125* Haddin 80*).

Morning Session – Australia 2nd Innings

Over 86.6: No Runs. J Anderson to M Clarke, good length delivery, gets the ball to swing back and strike the pad, however on the higher side, Clarke survives the lbw because of the height.

Over 86.6: He is caught! A Flintoff to B Haddin, good length delivery, goes back and feels for that slightly away going seamer and nicks it to second slip where Collingwood holds onto a low catch. England truly back in the game now.

Over 90.6: Boundary! J Anderson to M Johnson, pitched up delivery, drives the juicy one through covers for a boundary.

Over 91.6: Boundary! A Flintoff to M Johnson, pitched up delivery, plays an uppish drive well over covers for a boundary.

Over 93.4: Boundary! A Flintoff to M Johnson, short and rising delivery, gets on top of the bounce and pulls it away to the squareleg boundary.

Over 94.3: No runs. S Broad to M Johnson, pitched up delivery, plays a loose drive away from his body and edges it between the first and second slips and the ball doesn’t carry!

Over 94.6: Boundary! S Broad to Michael Clarke, pitched up delivery, drives that wide one past the diving mid off for a boundary.

Over 95.5: Three runs. A Flintoff to M Johnson, short of length delivery, jabs it through covers and gets three runs out of nowhere.

Over 96.5: Boundary! S Broad to M Johnson, half volley, drives that with an open faced blade to get it through covers for a boundary.

Over 98.2: Bowled him! G Swann to Michael Clarke, flighted delivery, steps out and gets too close to the pitch of the ball to convert that yorker and miss his drive! Infact the ball just dipped down under the bat to hit the off stump.

Over 98.5: Boundary! G Swann to M Johnson, quicker and flatter in the air, flicks it away through mid wicket for a boundary.

Over 99.4: Bowled him! A Flintoff to Nathan Hauritz, good length delivery, Hauritz offers no shot and the ball comes back skiddng through to knock the off stump down!

Over 99.6: Boundary! A Flintoff to P Siddle, pitched up delivery, just manages to flick the inswinging yorker through squareleg for a boundary.

Over 100.1: Boundary! G Swann to M Johnson, flatter trajectory delivery, thrashes that half volley through cover point for a boundary.

Over 100.2: No runs. G Swann to M Johnson, flighted delivery, smacks it uppishly back to the bowler and Swann fails to hold onto a diving one handed catch to his right.

Over 101.2: Boundary! A Flintoff to M Johnson, pitched up delivery, smashes it along the ground through mid off for a boundary.

Over 102.5: Boundary! G Swann to M Johnson, flatter trajectory delivery, heaves it flat over wide mid on for a boundary.

Over 103.6: Bowled him! A Flintoff to P Siddle, good length delivery, doesn’t come forward to a full ball and gets his off stump cleaned up by that pacy inswinger! Freddie has got his first five wicket haul at Lords.

Over 104.1: Single. G Swann to M Johnson, quicker and flatter in the air, drags his slog sweep to deep mid wicket for a single that brings up his 4th test fifty.

Over 105.6: Boundary! A Flintoff to M Johnson, pitched up delivery, jams the pacy yorker sweetly past mid off for a boundary to take Aus past 400.

Over 106.6: Bowled him! G Swann to M Johnson, quicker and flatter in the air, steps out and gets very close to the pitch of the ball to convert that into a yorker and get cleaned up! England win by 115 runs. This is the first Ashes win for them at Lords in 75 years!
