Clinton McKay, in short – Clint McKay is a right arm fast-medium bowler from Victoria. McKay happened to make his International Debut for Australia unexpectedly after a series of injuries to its players on the India Tour.

The 26-year-old McKay made his debut in the famous match at Hyderabad in which Sachin Tendulkar smashed the Aussie bowlers all around the park for his epic 175. It was McKay who had the final laugh on what was a dream debut which included the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar to help Australia win the match by 3 runs. The Victorian finished with proud figures of 10-0-59-3 on a pitch that produced nearly 700 runs in 100 overs!

Clint McKay got some international fame after becoming the second highest wicket taker in the inaugural Champions League T20 in India while representing the Victoria Bushrangers. Otherwise, he has had a limited first class experience of just 3 years and less than 20 games to date. McKay can bowl at around 138 kmph and is good at hitting the pitch hard to get the extra bounce and also has proved his temperament of keeping cool under pressure by bowling accurate yorkers and slower ones.
