Bangladesh have made atleast four changes from the team that played in the Asia Cup. Imrul Kayes, Arafat Sunny, Naeem Islam and Shafiul Islam have all been dropped from the 15-man Bangladesh ODI Squad.

Tamim Iqbal, one of the mainstays of the Bangladeshi batting returns after recovering from a neck injury.

It is reported that Taskin Ahmed, one of the two uncapped players that Bangladesh have selected for the India Series is just 19 years of age. It is also reported that Taskin Ahmed is arguably the fastest Bangladeshi bowler. Whether that is true or not will be seen during the Bangladesh vs India Sahara Cup 2014 ODI Series.

It can be recalled that Taskin Ahmed had made his international debut playing a lone T20I against Australia during the ICC World T20 2014. The young Taskin Ahmed claimed respectable figures of 1 for 24 in his four overs. The other uncapped player Mithun Ali is an impressive 24-year-old wicket-keeper batsman. Mithun Ali has also played one T20I in his career which was against Sri Lanka in 2014 but resulted in a first ball duck.

The short three-match Sahara Cup 2014 ODI series between Bangladesh and India begins on 15th of this month.
