pulls out of Irani Trophy |

Tendulkar has pulled out of the upcoming Irani Trophy match at
Baroda which is scheduled to be played from the 24th of this
month. Sachin is recovering from an elbow injury which he had
sustained during the Sri Lanka Test Series.
A replacement for Tendulkar is likely to be
named tomorrow with the likes of Badrinath, Suresh Raina or
Rohit Sharma making it for the Irani Trophy match against
Delhi. All the three players are part of the India A squad
which is currently involved in a Tri-Series. Tendulkar has
been advised one more week rest and he should be available for
the first Test against Australia which begins on the 9th of
next month.
