Defending CLT20 Champions Mumbai Indians will miss the services of their Captain Rohit Sharma for this edition of the tournament which begins on the 13th of September. The reason being Rohit Sharma nursing a finger injury which he sustained during India’s Tour of England.
Rohit Sharma had broken his finger during the 2nd ODI at Cardiff when he attempted to take a sharp catch at short mid wicket. Ever since that Rohit Sharma has missed out from the action.
It will be a big blow for the Mumbai Indians in the absence of Rohit Sharma as they begin their campaign to defend the trophy in the OPPO Champions League T20 2014. Of course, the major hurdle for Mumbai Indians is that they have to first qualify out of the four teams to enter in the main tournament draw.
