Afghanistan Test Squad : Afghanistan have packed four spinners in their squad for their first ever Test match which will be played against India from June 14 at Bengaluru.
The Afghanistan Test squad includes Sunrisers Hyderabad leg-spinner Rashid Khan and another wrist spinner Zahir Khan to go along with Kings XI Punjab off-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman and a left-arm spinner in Amir Hamza.
Afghanistan, which is likely to field at least three of these spinners, will be hoping for some magic from the likes of Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman to put pressure on the Indian batting.

The minnows have named an uncapped player in their squad in the form of 18-year-old fast bowler Wafadar. The Afghanistan Test Squad vs India 2018 does not feature experienced pacer Dawlat Zadran who is out of action with a knee injury.
Asghar Stanikzai will lead Afghanistan in the only Test against India and also for the three T20Is against Bangladesh to be played in Dehradun, India from 3 June. The Afghanistan test team includes the experienced Mohammad Nabi, wicket keeper Mohammad Shahzad, Hashmathullah Shahidi and Rahmat Shah.
On the other hand, Afghanistan has preferred a more younger set of players for the T20I series against Bangladesh with only five Test players finding their names for the shortest version of the game.
Included in the Afghanistan T20 Squad is teenage batsman Darwish Rasooli who gets a maiden call-up to the national team following a successful ICC U19 World Cup. Also Najib Tarakai comes back into the Afghanistan cricket team after putting in impressive performances in domestic cricket.
