Kallis century steers SA to 262 for 4 on Day 1

South Africa are in a good position at 262 for 4 on a greenish wicket at Centurion in the first Test against England. Jacques Kallis returned from his rib injuy to score an unbeaten 112 with 14 fours and a six. Giving him company in an unbroken 103-run stand for the 5th wicket is JP Duminy who is on 38. Off Spinner Graeme Swann was the most succesful bowler taking two wickets. 

England had won the toss and put SA in. The Proteas have given Test Debut to 29-year-old fast bowler Friedel de Wet. Makhaya Ntini on the other hand is playing his 100th Test match of his career.
