Morkel, Steyn demolish England at Johannesburg

Dale SteynSouth Africa have grabbed the initiative in the fourth and final Test at Johannesburg by bundling out England for 180 on the first day. Morne Morkel made further inroads once Dale Steyn removed England Captain Andrew Strauss with the first ball of the match. Strauss had infact won the toss and elected to bat first.

Morne Morkel went onto take three wickets after Strauss’ exit that including that of the big fish Kevin Pietersen. Steyn finished with a five wicket haul to wrap up England for 180 in 47.5 overs.

The top scorers for England were Paul Collingwood (47 from 61 balls with 5 fours) and Ian Bell (35 from 86 balls with 6 fours). Steyn took his five wicket in just 13.1 overs. South Africa finished the day safely at 29 for no loss before bad light put an abrupt end.
