Profiling the Surrey trio of Jason Roy, Reece Topley, and Laurie Evans

The Surrey County Cricket Club based at The Oval has produced some of the finest players for England while roping in several overseas greats over the years.

Today, we profile three Surrey cricketers – Jason Roy, Reece Topley, and Laurie Evans, and bring their chitchat about various aspects through this funny video from Betway.

Some of the things that the trio has discussed include their biggest inspiration, the best footballer, the messiest roommate, and others.

Jason Roy : This 6ft tall cricketer is a right-handed opening batsman, who has the credit of playing over 100 ODIs for England apart from five Tests and 60 T20Is as of today. Jason Roy has been a star performer for England during their maiden ODI World Cup win in 2019. This attacking batsman, who is now 31 years old, has an impressive highest score of 180in his ODI career, which came against Australia at Melbourne in 2018.

Reece Topley : At a height of 6ft 7inch, Reece Topley can be a very difficult bowler to handle with his left-arm pace on his day. However, because of injuries, Reece Topley had a limited career at the international level, 15 ODIs and 11 T20Is. In ODIs, the left-arm quick bowler took 22 wickets with a career best of 4 for 20, and in T20Is, he has taken nine wickets, so far.

Laurie Evans : This 6ft tall right handed batsman is a T20 veteran with more than 200 matches to show. Aged 34, it is unlikely that Laurie Evans could ever play for England, but he certainly has a respectable domestic career with six first-class centuries, three List A centuries, and a couple of T20 centuries. Laurie Evans has also featured in various T20 leagues in the Caribbean, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, among others.
