  • Due to rain interruptions, South Africa’s target shot up to 22 from just one ball from 22 from 13 balls which brought a tear in many South Africans including their players! This match gave the wake up call for the ICC, who had introduced the Duckworth Lewis Method five years later for ruling rain interrupted matches.
