The third England vs India Investec Test begins today at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. Hosts England are under tremendous pressure having lost the Lord’s Test. They are trailing in this 5-match series which is being led 1-0 by India.

Already the English side had a casualty in the form of Matt Prior who dropped out from the remainder of the series. The axe is hanging on a few English players like the Captain himself Alastair Cook and Ben Stokes as they have not done anything significant yet in the series.
If India wins the third Test then for sure it will not lose the 5-match Investec Test Series. So England will have to stop India from winning this Test at any cost. The Indian team has now got the self belief that it can win in an overseas Test. In their last tour to England, India had lost all the four Test matches. This time it is a different feeling for MS Dhoni’s men as they do know that England can crumble under pressure.

England will make one change with Jos Buttler replacing Matt Prior. For India, Rohit Sharma is expected to take Stuart Binny’s place.
