Afghanistan tasted their first success of the ongoing U19 World Cup by beating Hong Kong at Christchurch. Hong Kong was bowled out for 137 with Zakiullah Zaki capturing five wickets. Afganistan eased to the target in 31 overs losing only two wickets with opener Javed Ahmadi remaining unbeaten on 90.
