Anirudh Singh holds Hyderabad for a draw

Left hander Anirudh Singh held Hyderabad together with an unbeaten 74 to clinch a nervous draw for the homeside. Orissa fell short of a victory by just the one wicket which stood unbroken for 7.1 overs!

Hyderabad who were set an improbable target of 321 in a little over two sessions found themselves in ruins on a spicy wicket. Left arm spinner Dhiraj Singh captured four wickets in 16 overs. Medium pacers Basanth Mohanty and Sahoo picked up two wickets each. Orissa had earlier declared their second innings at 243 for 5 with Rakesh Mohanty scoring an unbeaten 70.
