Ricky Ponting has won the toss and decided to bat first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad in the 5th ODI. Australia have made as many as three changes to their line-up. The injured Moises Henriques and Peter Siddle have been replaced with Adam Voges and Ben Hilfenhaus. The biggest change is that of Mitchell Johnson being dropped and making way for Victorian all-rounder Clint McKay who makes his debut.

India have made two changes with Gautam Gambhir coming back in the place of Virat Kohli and Munaf Patel getting his first game of the series. Munaf replaces Ishant Sharma who was targeted in the last game by Ricky Ponting. Conditions at the moment in Hyderabad are very hot and the fielding side will have to bear the sun for a couple of hours. Dew may not cause much of a problem in Hyderabad as it doesn’t get that cold until the early morning hours.
