CSK beat Warriors; Both qualify for Semis

Both Michael Hussey Port ElizabethChennai Super Kings and Warriors achieved what they wanted in the last league match to enter into the Semi Finals of the Champions League 2010. Warriors chasing a target of just 137 needed 109 to get into the Semis which they did. However, their failure in chasing the target of 137 meant that Chennai Super Kings too entered into the Semi Final along with them.

CSK won the toss and batted first but could only put up a modest total with opener Michael Hussey top scoring with a 39-ball 50 and MS Dhoni coming up with an unbeaten 31 from 21 balls. Justin Kreusch, the medium pacer played a crucial role taking three wickets for Warriors.

Warriors in their chase were restricted to 126 for 8 with Ashwin taking three wickets and Muralitharan strangling them with 2 for 19 in 4 overs. Hussey was the Man of the Match.
