Delhi Daredevils defeated an unusually flat looking RCB at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium by 17 runs. Daredevils batting first piledu p 183 for 4 courtesy of a sweet knock of 50 not out from 29 balls (with 5 fours and 2 sixes) from the little known Kedar Jadhav. The Maharashtra cricketer got the Man of the Match for his efforts. There were also meaningful contributions from David Warner (33 from 14 balls) and AB de Villiers (45 from 35 balls).

RCB started superbly yet again with 71 on the board inside 10 overs but lost their way totally because of some needless run outs and poor shot selection. Manish Pandey was the top scorer for the hosts with 39 (from 29 balls) and Virat Kohli just dragged the game in the end with an unbeaten 38 from 23 balls. Amit Mishra bowled beautifully for the Daredevils taking 2 for 23 in his 4 overs.
