The English Cricket team has arrived in Chennai to take part in the 2-Test Series against England. Until the squad arrived in India, it was still unclear whether the second leg of the tour would carry on or not. The English squad had come from Abu Dhabi where it was having full swing preparations for the two Tests. Their originally scheduled warm-up match at Baroda was cancelled along with the 6th and the 7th ODIs due to the Mumbai Terror attacks.
The pace duo of Steve Harmison and Andrew Flintoff have also arrived with the rest of the squad although there were strong reports that the pair was apprehensive of playing in India. A strong presence of 5000 security personnel will be stationed at the hotel and the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
