Ganguly loses Test Captaincy to Dravid

Sourav Ganguly has lost Test Captaincy to Rahul Dravid as the latter was appointed as the Skipper for the 3-Tests Series against Sri Lanka. The team for the last 2 ODIs against South Africa and the Test Squad for the Sri Lanka Series would be picked tomorrow. The 1st Test between India and Sri Lanka begins on the 2nd December at the Chepauk, M.A.Chidamabaram Stadium, Chennai. Meanwhile the Selectors have named the Board President’XI squad that would play a 3-day match against Sri Lanka at Bangalore. Middle order find Y.Venugopal Rao has been named as the Captain of that side. The Selectors have gone in for a young side by picking up Dheeraj Jadhav, Shikhar Dhawan, Robin Uthappa and others. Parthiv Patel finds a place in the squad too.
