Gujarat are at 139 for 2 in 66 overs in their second innings against Railways having conceded a lead of 131 to Railways. The fourth day will need Gujarat batsmen to consume time and also score enough runs to force a draw.

Opener Jay Desai played a good knock of 76 for them while left handed Niraj Patel is on an industrious 40 that has taken 179 balls. He along with Skipper Parthiv Patel hold the key for Gujarat’s survival tomorrow. Railways were earlier bowled out for 391 with M Suresh scoring 66 on the third day.
