Hello folks, welcome to the crunch game between India and Australia at Centurion. Aus have won the toss and will bat first on a very good batting track. India are in a do-or-die situation today as far as this tournament is concerned. Mishra and Praveen have replaced Yusuf and RP for India.

Australia Innings

Over 0.5: No runs. Ashish Nehra to S Watson, short of length delivery, the ball stops onto the pitch and kicks off all of a sudden and Watson fends it helplessly in the air and is lucky that the ball falls short of point.

Over 2.2: He is Caught! Ashish Nehra to S Watson, short and rising delivery, goes for a pull shot and can only miscue it in the air towards the squareleg region where Harbhajan moves back slightly to take an easy catch.

Over 4.6: Boundary! Ashish Nehra to R Ponting, pitched up delivery, drives that wide one through extra covers for a boundary.

Over 5.2: Single. P Kumar to T Paine, short of length delivery, run out chances goes down begging with Praveen not able to collect the ball, Paine had got an inside edge onto the pad which rolled behind and Ricky had called for a risky run.

Over 7.1: Boundary! P Kumar to T Paine, good length delivery, strays onto the pads and Paine glances that fine behind the sticks for a boundary.

Over 8.3: Boundary! I Sharma to T Paine, short of length delivery, slices it on the up in the air but well wide of point for a streaky boundary.

Over 8.4: Sixer! I Sharma to T Paine, short and rising delivery, gets on top of the bounce and pulls it flat over mid wicket for a six!

Over 9.2: Sixer!. P Kumar to R Ponting, good length delivery, picks it off his pads in the air over mid wicket for a sweet six.

Over 11.4: Boundary! Amit Mishra to T Paine, flighted delivery, edges the leg break on the frontfoot and the ball eludes Dravid at slip to his right and goes for a boundary.

Over 12.4: Boundary! I Sharma to T Paine, short of length delivery, walks down and across and flicks it over mid wicket for a boundary.

Over 12.5: Boundary! I Sharma to T Paine, half volley, drives the wide slower one through covers for an easy boundary.

Over 13.2: Boundary! Harbhajan to T Paine, full toss, lunges forward and across and paddles it away to fine leg for a boundary.

Over 13.6: Boundary! Harbhajan to T Paine, flighted delivery, reverse sweeps that nicely through thirdman for a boundary that brings up his fifty.

Over 16.4: He is Caught! Amit Mishra to T Paine, flatter trajectory delivery, goes for a paddle sweep but can only top edge it to Harbhajan at squareleg. This ball had some lovely loop and bounce to induce the top edge.

Over 17.3: Boundary! Harbhajan to R Ponting, flighted delivery, thats down the legside and Ricky paddles it neatly to fine leg for a boundary.

Over 23.6: Boundary! Harbhajan to M Hussey, flatter trajectory delivery, fires that down the legside and Hussey sweeps it powerfully along the ground to the fine leg boundary.

Over 25.6: Boundary! S Raina to M Hussey, flighted delivery, takes it on the full and reverse paddles it through thirdman for a boundary.

Over 26.4: Single. I Sharma to R Ponting, pitched up delivery, drives it away to deep extra covers to bring up his 70th ODI fifty.

Over 26.6: Boundary! I Sharma to M Hussey, pitched up delivery, drives it crisply down the ground past the bowler for a boundary.

Over 27.5: Boundary! P Kumar to M Hussey, short and wide, cuts it away behind point for a boundary beating Amit Mishra in the end.

Over 28.1: Single. I Sharma to M Hussey, pitched up delivery, slams it away to long off for a single. Rain likely to hit the ground at any moment!

Over 30.2: Boundary! I Sharma to R Ponting, good length delivery, drives it on the up with an open faced blade to place it behind point for a boundary.

Over 32.5: Run Out at the Non Striker’s end! Ashish Nehra to M Hussey, pitched up delivery, drives it to deep extra covers and calls for the second, Gambhir rushes in and comes up with a magical direct hit that finds Ponting way short of his crease!

Over 35.1: Single. Harbhajan to C White , flatter trajectory delivery, goes back and flicks the low ball to squareleg for a single. Aus have taken the batting powerplay.

Over 35.3: Boundary! Harbhajan to C White , flighted delivery, makes room and lofts it over mid off for a one bounce boundary.

Over 36.3: Boundary! Ashish Nehra to M Hussey, full toss, strays onto the pads just below the waist height and Hussey helps it along its way past short fine leg for a boundary.

Over 37.1: Boundary! Amit Mishra to C White , flatter trajectory delivery, bowls it onto the pads and White flicks that gloriously through wide mid on for a boundary

Over 39.6: Sixer! Amit Mishra to C White , flatter trajectory delivery, sits down and slog sweeps the googly a long way over mid wicket for a six.

Over 40.1: He is Caught! I Sharma to M Hussey, pitched up delivery, lofts that wide slower one straight into the hands of Tendulkar at deep extra covers.

Over 42.3: No runs. I Sharma to C Ferguson, short of length delivery, pushes it to covers.

And the rain has started to pelt down pretty heavy and covers have been called onto the park. Will be back after the rain subsides.

Well folks, the India-Australia clash at Centurion has been abandoned due to persistent rain. Both sides share a point each and that means India are out of the Champions Trophy!
