Hello folks lets welcome back the good old 50-over contest! Its the 1st ODI between West Indies and India at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. India have won the toss and have elected to bat first.
India Innings
Over 1.3: Boundary! Lionel Baker to D Karthik, short and wide, cuts that over Darren Bravo at backward point for a boundary.
Over 1.5: Sixer! Lionel Baker to Gambhir, short of length delivery, skips down the track and lofts it on the rise with sweet timing over long on for a six!
Over 4.3: He is Caught! J Taylor to Gambhir, bangs it short, doesn’t get hold of his pull shot and can only miscue it to mid wicket for Dwayne Bravo!
Over 7.2: He is Caught! Lionel Baker to R Sharma, bangs it short, goes for the pull and like Gambhir falls prey to that short pitch length, Rohit can only top edge it to deep squareleg where the fielder covers a lot of ground to hold onto the catch.
Over 7.6: Boundary! Lionel Baker to D Karthik, bouncer, somehow gets on top of that and plays a tennis type of forearm shot to fine leg for a one bounce boundary.
Over 10.1: Boundary! Dwayne Bravo to D Karthik, pitched up delivery, a bit of width on offer and DK drives that on the up through wide mid off for a boundary. Bravo has replaced Taylor and Windies have taken their bowling powerplay.
Over 11.5: Boundary! Lionel Baker to Yuvraj , half volley, width on offer and Yuvraj opens the face to drive it between point and covers for a boundary.
Over 13.2: Boundary! David Bernard to D Karthik, short and wide, cuts that ferociously past point for a boundary. Well Yuvraj got a single in the last ball.
Over 14.6: Boundary! Dwayne Bravo to D Karthik, pitched up delivery, plays a well controlled flat lofted shot over wide mid on for a boundary.
Over 19.2: Sixer! David Bernard to D Karthik, good length delivery, shuffles across and scoops it over the head of short fine leg for a six that brings up his 3rd ODI fifty. I am sorry he didn’t get a single in the last ball.
Over 20.2: Boundary! Sulieman Benn to Yuvraj , on the shorter side, thats down the legside as well and Yuvraj pulls that wide of short fine leg for a rare boundary.
Over 21.3: Sixer! C Gayle to Yuvraj , dragged way too short, that’s a long hop, rocks back and pulls it away over wide mid wicket for a six!
Over 22.2: Sixer! Sulieman Benn to Yuvraj , flighted delivery, slog sweeps that with the turn over the head of the fielder at deep mid wicket for a six!!
Over 23.3: Sixer! C Gayle to Yuvraj , dragged way too short, that’s a long hop, and again Yuvraj is quickly in position to pull that away over mid wicket for a six!
Over 23.5: Two runs. C Gayle to Yuvraj , flatter trajectory delivery, taps it across to backward squareleg for a couple and has reached his 41st ODI fifty!
Over 24.4: Boundary! Sulieman Benn to Yuvraj , quicker and flatter in the air, stretches forward and slams the half volley uppishly towards wide long off for a boundary.
Over 25.6: Boundary! C Gayle to Yuvraj , quicker and flatter in the air, thats on the shorter side and Yuvraj back cuts it past the diving Sarwan for a boundary through short thirdman.
Over 26.3: Boundary! David Bernard to D Karthik, pitched up delivery, slashes that wide juicy one over point for a boundary.

Over 36.4: Sixer! J Taylor to Yuvraj , pitched up delivery, makes room and lofts it inside out over wide long off, that looks to have come off the bottom but still sails all the way for a six!
Over 38.1: He is Caught! Dwayne Bravo to Yuvraj , good length delivery, thats down the legside and Yuvraj gets a fine tickle that is brilliantly caught by Ramdin who dives to his right to take a low catch.
Over 38.2: He is Caught! Dwayne Bravo to R Jadeja, good length delivery, stays back to nudge it down to thirdman but can only nick it straight to Ramdin! Dwayne Bravo is on a hat-trick with that!!
Over 38.3: No runs. Dwayne Bravo to Y Pathan, good length delivery, gets forward and pushes the inswinger to covers to save the hat-trick.
Over 42.6: Boundary! Dwayne Bravo to Y Pathan, full toss, thats onto the pads and Yusuf whips it across wide of short fine leg for a boundary.
Over 44.4: Boundary! J Taylor to M S Dhoni, good length delivery, shuffles back and flicks it brilliantly wide of short fine leg for a boundary.
Over 45.4: Boundary! Lionel Baker to M S Dhoni, good length delivery, shuffles back and across and plays an intelligent paddle to the right of short fine leg for a boundary.
Over 45.6: Sixer! Lionel Baker to Y Pathan, good length delivery, gives it a clean swing across the line to pick up a six over wide long on.

J Taylor to Y Pathan, short of length delivery, shufles across for a flick and is hit on the thigh, the ball rolls back to the keeper and MSD calls for a quick run! There is no chance at all with Ramdin hurling a direct throw that has MSD short of the crease by a yard atleast.

Over 3.3: Boundary! Ashish Nehra to Runako Morton, good length delivery, makes room and slashes it hard over point for a boundary.
MS Dhoni has twisted his ankle while trying to stop the ball in the previous delivery! He is getting some repair work done by the physio. There is also Dinesh Karthik in the team who can take over the gloves.
Over 3.6: Leg Bye. Ashish Nehra to Runako Morton, bangs it short, gets very late in a position to pull that and the ball takes the arm and falls short of slip.

Over 6.4: Boundary! I Sharma to C Gayle, short of length delivery, thats a bad ball on the legstump line and gets pulled away to the squareleg boundary by Gayle.
Over 7.4: Four Byes! Ashish Nehra to Runako Morton, good length delivery, gives it a wild heave and misses that outside off, MSD fails to stop that one which rolls onto the ground and runs away for four byes!
Over 8.2: Boundary! I Sharma to C Gayle, short of length delivery, makes a bit of room and pulls it cleanly over wide mid on for a boundary.
Over 9.1: Boundary! Ashish Nehra to Runako Morton, pitched up delivery, bangs it down the ground between the non striker and short mid off for a boundary!
Over 9.3: He is Caught! Ashish Nehra to C Gayle, bangs it short, goes for the pull shot and has miscued that and Harbhajan at mid on runs back to his left to take a very good catch.

Over 14.4: Boundary! R Jadeja to Runako Morton, quicker and flatter in the air, steps out too soon and is lucky to get an outside edge that beats the keeper for a boundary. He was deceived in the air by that.
Over 15.5: He is Caught! Y Pathan to Runako Morton, quicker and flatter in the air, thats a spinning off break down the legside and is caught by the keeper, Umpire Llong thinks that had taken a thin edge as well! I am not sure at all, was getting ready for a wide infact.
Over 19.3: Sixer! Harbhajan to R Sarwan, flighted delivery, steps out and hoicks it high and handsome over wide long on for a six.
Over 22.5: Boundary! Yuvraj to R Sarwan, flatter trajectory delivery, thats a bad ball down the legside and Sarwan tickles it fine past Dhoni for a boundary.
Over 24.5: Sixer! Yuvraj to R Sarwan, flatter trajectory delivery, steps out and lofts it straight down the ground for an effortless six!
Over 24.6: Run Out at the Striker’s end! Yuvraj to R Sarwan, quicker and flatter in the air, cuts it to deep point and looks to steal a second run from RP but finds himself a yard shot of the crease as RP sends in a flat throw to MSD.
Over 28.4: Sixer! Yuvraj to S Chanderpaul, on the shorter side, goes back and pulls it flat over long on for a six!
Over 28.5: Sixer! Yuvraj to S Chanderpaul, flatter trajectory delivery, steps out and swings his arms to send the ball screaming over the bowler’s head for a six!!
Over 29.4: Boundary! I Sharma to S Chanderpaul, short of length delivery, pulls it in the air perfectly in the gap at deep wide mid wicket for a boundary.
Over 31.5: He is Caught! I Sharma to Dwayne Bravo, full toss, thats too high for comfort and Bravo heaves it across but only to get a leading edge to Rohit at extra covers. That should have been a noball but the Umpire thinks otherwise!
Over 32.1: Boundary! R P Singh to Darren Bravo, pitched up delivery, thats a swinging yorker and Darren gets hit on the toe and the ball rushes off to the thirdman boundary. Bad umpiring decision again!

Over 38.5: Four Leg Byes! Harbhajan to J Taylor, flatter trajectory delivery, goes for the big slog sweep and its a top spinner that takes the pad and kicks off over the keeper for a boundary.
Over 39.3: Out LBW! Y Pathan to J Taylor, quicker and flatter in the air, goes back for an ambitious pull and misses it to get struck on the thigh just infront of the off stump.

Over 44.5: He is Caught! Ashish Nehra to David Bernard, good length delivery, walks down the pitch and plays a strong flick towards deep mid wicket but finds Rohit Sharma who holds onto the catch smartly infront of the ropes! 46 from 31.
