Hyderabad ended a disappointing season finishing last in their Group as they could only draw their last match against Tamil Nadu. Hyderabad have been relegated to the Plate League for the next season. Tamil Nadu frustrated further by piling up a first innings total of 785 while batting for nearly 200 overs.

The final day’s play saw medium pacer C Ganapathy score his second century of the season. Hyderabad got to bat before the match finished and they came up with 148 for 2 in 27 overs. Abhinav Kumar opening the batting got an unbeaten 103. Tamil Nadu used mostly non-regular bowlers which included Dinesh Karthik.
