India clinch nerve-wrecking thriller against Arch Rivals!

India clinched a pulsating thriller against arch rivals Pakistan in the 4th match of the Asia Cup and with that a spot in the Finals. Chasing 268, India managed to get there with just the one ball to spare and to win the match by 3 wickets. Gautam Gambhir once again came good scoring 83 (from 97 balls with 6 fours and a six) to take the Man of the Match award. Skipper MS Dhoni set up the chase along with him by scoring 56 in a 3rd wicket partnership of 98. It was Harbhajan Singh who provided the finishing touches though with his unbeaten 15 which included a couple of crucial sixes! Saeed Ajmal bowled well for Pak taking three wickets.

Early on Pakistan after a couple of good starts at the top slipped from 144 for 2 in the 29th over to 267 all out. Salman Butt with 71 (from 85 balls with 9 fours) and Kamran Akmal with 51 (from just 41 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes) were the chief contributors. For India, Praveen Kumar picked up three wickets including that of a dangerous Shahid Afridi who made 32 from 25 balls.
