India in early trouble at Guwahati

India are under pressure straightaway in the sixth ODI at Guwahati. They have already lost Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir in just the first over of the match!

Sehwag batted as if it was the last over of the innings when he clobbered a short and wide ball from Johnson over covers for a six in the second ball itself! However, two balls later which included a wide, Sehwag was cleaned up by a full length inswinger from the same bowler. Sehwag just didn’t get his feet forward and exposed his stumps which were shattered.

Gautam Gambhir, the one drop batsman had his off stump go for a morning walk from a Johnson away going delivery. Gambhir played along the wrong line in a flick shot, closing the face early and not covering the off stump at all with his frontfoot stuck around middle.

India now have the in-form Sachin Tendulkar who is fresh from the epic knock of 175 in Hyderabad. He will have to do plenty of repair work along with Yuvraj Singh.
