Toss : MS Dhoni returning back into the team has won the toss and put Sri Lanka to bat first in the fifth and final ODI at Delhi. India have already won the 5-ODI Series 2-1. The match is off to a 15-minute delayed start due to foggy conditions. No overs have been taken off from the game.

Team News : India has made two changes with MS Dhoni replacing Sachin Tendulkar and Sudeep Tyagi making his ODI Debut in the place of Ishant Sharma. Sreesanth sits out despite being fit. For Sri Lanka, Pushpakumara and Welegedara have replaced Mahela Jayawardene and Lasith Malinga.

Pitch Report : Sunil Gavaskar says that he is confused about what the pitch is going to be like once the game starts. It’s a combination of grassy areas along with bald patches and not to forget about a few damp areas. Batting first is going to be tricky and the pitch is expected to get better as the sun breaks through. The Feroz Shah Kotla hasn’t had a good reputation of providing proper pitches ever since the Champions League. So one can expect that this is going to be more a bowler friendly game with the batsmen expected to draft for their runs.
