India got off to a bad start on its tour of Sri Lanka with its weak bowling attack conceding as many as 432 runs in just over 88 overs on the first day of the 3-day practice game at the Colts Cricket Club Ground in Colombo. The Sri Lankan Board President’s XI led by test match regular Thilan Samaraweera won the toss, batted first and piled up 432 for 5. The Skipper himself got 101 while other international players – Upul Tharanga (110) and Thilina Kandamby (101) also scored centuries. The other opener – Lahiru Thirmanne also got amongst the runs scoring 66.
