India ODI all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored a superb unbeaten 141 to help Saurashtra to 305 for 5 on the first day of their Ranji Elite match against Orissa at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Jadeja struck 17 fours and a six in his knock while facing 213 balls. Supporting Jadeja through a 142-run partnerhip for the 3rd wicket was opener Bhushan Chauhan who scored 83 (from 172 balls with 15 fours). For the hosts Orissa, medium pacer Basanth Mohanty bowled well taking two wickets.
