Young opener Jay Desai scored his maiden century in first class cricket but that was all the joy his team Gujarat could get from their match against Tamil Nadu at Ahmedabad. Gujarat wrapped up the 4-day match at 165 for 5 in their second innings. Tamil Nadu on virtue of their first innings lead took three points after overtaking a decent 343 put on by Gujarat.
