Sri Lanka have got into a lead of 57 runs with still five wickets standing at Tea time on Day 3. Mahela Jayawardene has eased past his 27th Test hundred and is now on 142 (from 225 balls with 12 fours and a six). It is his 5th hundred against India. Mahela is getting perfect support from Prasanna Jayawardene who is doing well in his own right with a score of 43 (from 82 balls with 2 fours). Sri Lanka have got to 483 for 5 in 124 overs.

The Lankans have collected 108 runs in this afternoon session from 27.4 overs. India have managed to keep the two batsmen down from playing a lot of shots. Yuvraj Singh has done a decent job conceding  just the 28 runs in his 10 overs. In the last few minutes before Tea, Amit Mishra has been bowling a negative line outside the line of the legstump and has kept a check on the batsmen with turn from the footholes. The two Jayawardenes have so far put on an unbeaten 108 runs for the sixth wicket.

Sri Lanka will be looking to get another 100 runs today and look to bat a bit tomorrow morning. There are 35 overs to be bowled in the final session today.
