Saurashtra put on a much better show with the bat in their second innings at 389 for 8 but Karnataka are still in the driver’s seat with the hosts having an overall lead of 221 only. Opener Chirag Pathak top scored for Saurashtra with 88 while Cheteshwar Pujara (66) and Pratik Mehta (66*) struck half centuries.
