Well Kings XI Punjab have been very impressive since IPL 7. They have got some killer players in Glenn Maxwell to go along with Virender Sehwag and David Miller. And of course plenty of other talented performers which includes Skipper George Bailey. There is also minus for the Kings XI Punjab going into this tournament because of the unavailability of Mitchell Johnson for the initial stages.

The Kings XI Punjab will host the Limacol Caribbean Premier League 2014 (CPL 2014) Champions – the Barbados Tridents at the former’s home ground in Mohali. Well the Barbados Tridents aren’t the same unit in the absence of their original Skipper Kieron Pollard who had opted to play for the Mumbai Indians.

The Barbados Tridents are led by all-rounder Rayad Emrit. Their team has some international faces like Zimbabwe’s Elton Chigumbura, New Zealand all-rounder James Franklin, South Africa discard Neil McKenzie and Sri Lanka’s Jeevan Mendis and Dilshan Munaweera. Then there are West Indian players like Ravi Rampaul who should enjoy bowling on the grassy Mohali pitch and so should the tall Jason Holder.
