Mumbai after getting shot out for a paltry 162 on the first day have fought back hard to find themselves in a decent position to even win the match against Himachal Pradesh. The hosts bowled out Himachal for 246 and then made a good start in the second innings at 76 for no loss to nearly wipe out the lead. Ajinkya Rahane on 38 and Sahil Kukreja on 35 are at the crease and Mumbai are having a deficit of just 8 runs.

The bowling stars of the day for Mumbai were left arm spinners Harmeet Singh and Iqbal Abdulla who took four wickets each. The top scorer for the visitors was opener Bhavin Thakkar who scored 88.
