Mumbai Squad for Ranji Trophy Super League 2011/12

Wasim JafferMumbai, considered to be one of the strong contenders of the Trophy every season will be led by the experienced 33-year-old Wasim Jaffer. Fast bowler Ajit Agarkar has been named as the Vice-Captain.

The most important player of the squad could be Rohit Sharma who will be trying to impress the selectors by piling up runs in this longer format of the game to cement his place in the Indian team. Ajinkya Rahane who is part of the squad could miss the action as he got selected in the Indian Test team to play West Indies at Delhi.

Sulakshan Kulkarni, former Mumbai Wicket Keeper will be the Coach of the team this season. Kulkarni last year was the Coach of Vidarbha.
