Nayar unbeaten ton rescues Mumbai

Abhishek NayarHosts Mumbai ended the opening day’s play of their Semi Final Match against Delhi on a high at 329 for 4 at the Brabourne Stadium. Left handed Abhishek Nayar is holding the fortunes of the hosts with an unbeaten 111 (from 154 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes) along with Ajit Agarkar who is on 57.

Mumbai after winning the toss and electing to bat first were in trouble at 86 for 3 with fast bowler Ishant Sharma removing Jaffer and Rahane cheaply. Nayar came to the rescue along with Omkar Khanvilkar (70) by putting on 143 runs for the fourth wicket.
