Punjab resuming the third day’s play on 154 for 4 in reply to Railways’ 276 have gone onto score 401 in their first innings. It’s now the turn of the hosts to face the pressure having conceded a significant lead. In their second innings, Railways are at 19 for 1. Punjab were helped by Wicket Keeper Uday Kaul (123) and leg spinner Rahul Sharma who followed his 6-wicket haul with an entertaining 79 that had five sixes. Karan Sharma took four wickets for Railways.
