Sreesanth KolkataAfter a terrible innings defeat at Nagpur caused mainly due to poor team selection, the Indian Selection Committee has come up with three changes for the must-win Kolkata Test.

One day success Suresh Raina gets a look in with Rohit Sharma, the original cover for VVS Laxman injuring his ankle ahead of the first Test. Raina could make his debut if Laxman’s webbing doesn’t fully heal. Dinesh Karthik, who has smashed two centuries in the Duleep Trophy Final has literally kicked out Wriddhiman Saha, the accidental Test debutant at Nagpur.

The third change is a welcome one for the hosts with the penetrative fast bowler Sreesanth returning back after an injury. Sreesanth would most probably replace Ishant Sharma who went wicketless in the first Test whereas the former had won the Kanpur Test recently against Sri Lanka.

Rahul Dravid and Yuvraj Singh have been ruled out of the Kolkata Test as well which makes India to be the underdogs. Out of the side from the first Test are Rohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha and the two fast bowlers – Sudeep Tyagi and Abhimanyu Mithun who were perhaps useful in only carrying the drinks on the field.

India Squad for the Second Test at Kolkata : MS Dhoni (C & WK), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Murali Vijay, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, S BadrinathHarbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Ishant Sharma, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik and Sreesanth
