Well we have a contest today on the third day with India batting so well in the 18 overs of play yesterday. Virender Sehwag and Murali Vijay had seen those overs without any trouble and already got 95 on the board. There is nothing in the pitch to trouble the batsmen so far though there have been few balls staying low here and there.

I suspect reverse swing will be the key for today’s play and if the likes of Dammika Prasad and Dilhara Fernando can achieve that then India will have to fight it out for survival. Ajantha Mendis poses a threat always and playing him with a straight bat will be the key for success as far as the Indian batsmen are concerned. Well its 26 degress centigrade at the moment in Colombo and the information is that it’s a cloudy day and thunderstorms are in store for us, lets see whats going to happen really though.
