Virender Sehwag
As we know, the senior trio of Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Zaheer Khan are out of the Indian Cricket team due to their continuous failures and are almost out of reckoning with their replacements doing an efficient job. However, the trio get another opportunity to make a comeback with the Selectors accommodating them in the India A team to play against the touring West Indies A team next month.
Two four-day matches are to be played between India A and West Indies A in November. Sehwag, Gambhir and Zaheer have been selected to play in the second four-day match. The Selectors have also given a comeback opportunity to Yuvraj Singh who has been named as the Captain of the India A team which will play three ODIs and a lone T20 against West Indies A.
The National Selectors have also announced squads for the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy which will be played from September 26 to 29th.
