Sri Lanka have won the toss and asked India to bat first in the 1st ODI at the Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground in Rajkot. India is without Yuvraj Singh, out with a finger pain and Sri Lanka are without Lasith Malinga who is suffering from flu. Yuvraj hasn’t been ruled out of the series though with doctors confirming that his finger is not fractured. Muttiah Muralidaran, another key performer for Sri Lanka has been rested.
Pitch Report : The pitch should have the early morning moisture to assist the seamers. It should take some time under the sun to ease out into a good batting track.
