Sri Lanka has made plenty of changes to its squad for the upcoming Tri-Series in Bangladesh. While star performers like Sanath Jayasuriya, Ajantha Mendis and Lasith Malinga have been dropped, the team would miss the services of Mahela Jayawardene, Muttiah Muralitharan, Angelo Mathews and Dilhara Fernando who are out with injuries.
Also excluded from the squad is Chamara Kapugedera which paves the return of classy right handed Chamara Silva. There is just one face in the 15-man squad in the form of Lahiru Thirimanne who is a 20-year-old all-rounder coming from the ranks of the Sri Lankan Under 19 team.
There is also a comeback for left arm quick Thilan Thushara and leg spinner Malinga Bandara.
