Tamil Nadu are looking solid at a first innings score of 150 for 2 at Stumps on Day 2 in reply to hosts Railways’ 327. Stylish opener Murali Vijay is on 65 not out along with Subramaniam Badrinath who is on 33. One down batsman Arun Karthik contributed 47.
Railways stretched their first innings total from 242 for 4 to 327 in the second day’s play. Sanjay Bangar finished unconquered on 163 while all the other batsmen with the exception of Faiz Fazal (70) failed to go beyond a score of 15!
