Tamil Nadu have named a 16-man squad for their opening match of this season’s Ranji Trophy Super League. The Semi-Finalists of last season find themselves in Group A along with sides like Mumbai, Punjab and Hyderabad to name a few. The Tamil Nadu team is led by Wicket Keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik with stylish opener Murali Vijay as his Vice-Captain. However with Dinesh Karthik getting a call from the Indian team as cover up for the injured Gambhir and Sehwag for the Mohali ODI means that he may not be available for the November 3rd start match against Railways at Delhi. The Tamil Nadu Selectors have brought back Ex-ICL medium pacer Rajamani Jesuraj in the team.
Former India and Opener Woorkeri Raman is the Coach of the Tamil Nadu team. Assisting him in the Coaching department is going to be D J Gokulakrishnan while Naveen Babu is the Physio and K Manoj Kumar has been named as the Trainer.
