Tamil Nadu to take on Kerala in the Subbaiah Pillay Trophy

Defending champions Tamil Nadu will take on minnows Kerala in the first encounter of the South Zone One-Day cricket league for K.S.Subbaiah Pillay trophy beginning tomorrow at three grounds in Hyderabad. In the other two first round matches, Andhra will take on Goa at NFC grounds and hosts Hyderabad will clash with Karnataka at Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium, Uppal. Karnataka and hosts Hyderabad will be missing the services of India test stars Anil Kumble and VVS Laxman, who are unavailable due to personal reasons. Youthful Karnataka side however will be benefited with the services of senior player Sunil Joshi, while Vinay Kumar replaced Laxman for this event. All the Ranji One Dayers are to be played in Hyderabad.
