Delhi opener Shikhar Dhawan with 56 from 34 balls laid the impetus for Mumbai Indians while Sachin almost saw the game through. Chennai Super Kings had lost the game in one over from Sri Lankan Thissara Perera which leaked 19 runs at a crucial juncture.

MS Dhoni who returned back from the elbow injury didn’t get to bat at all.
