The first final of the Champions League Twenty20 is a mouth watering affair. It pits NSW against Trinidad and Tobago. The two are easily the two best teams of the competition and it should be a fantastic final.
The West Indian side was gifted by some abysmal fielding in their semi-final against Cape Cobras. The Cobras posted a competitive 175 but couldn’t back it up in the field. Their bowling was all over the place and there were a number of simple dropped chances particularly by Henry Davids.
With Twenty20 such a tight game, fielding makes the difference and the Cobras failed miserably in this regard.
Each of the T&T batsmen got a start and this is what they will have to do against NSW.
The two met in a second round match last week where NSW were looking like they were heading for a comfortable victory only for T&T to chase down the runs.
NSW likes to bat first and T&T likes to chase so it will be interesting should this be reversed. Cricket betting has the match as too close to call and it should be a great end to what has been a tremendous final.
