New Zealand have been hit by another injury with medium pacer Daryl Tuffey forced to leave India after straining his bicep during the first ODI at Guwahati.
According to New Zealand’s Coach – Mark Greatbatch, Tuffey seems okay when he is bowling but has a problem in throwing the ball while fielding.
No replacement has been named yet for Tuffey who will return back home. New Zealand already have two injured players in their ODI squad with the experienced Daniel Vettori and Brendon McCullum still not getting to peak fitness due to back strain.
