Dropped from the Indian Test Squad for the West Indies Series, Suresh Raina finds himself leading Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy Super League. The key players apart from the Skipper are international discards Mohammad Kaif, leggie Piyush Chawla and pacers RP Singh and Sudeep Tyagi. It is also reported that in the absence of Raina, left arm quick RP Singh will take on the Captaincy role. Former UP player Rizwan Shamshad has been named as the Batting Coach.
